Electronics Recycling
Simplified Computers provides year-round free electronics recycling for Champaign-Urbana and central Illinois. If you have electronics that are on our list of acceptable items, simply bring your old devices to our store at 901 South Neil St in Champaign during business hours and we will do the rest.
Acceptable Items for Recycling at Simplified Computers
Simplified Computers accepts any of the following electronic devices for recycling:
- Desktops/Towers/All-in-One Computer Systems/Servers
- Notebooks/Laptops
- Thin LCD monitors/displays (up to 28 inches)
- Printers
- Keyboards
- Mice
- Computer Speakers
- Small Computer Accessories
- Computer Cables
- Computer Components
- UPS and Computer Surge Protectors/Strips
- Network Switches and Access Points
- Gaming Consoles (Playstation, Xbox, etc)
- Routers
- Modems
Unacceptable Items
Simplified Computers will not accept the following items for recycling:
- CRT monitors
- TubeTVs
- iMacs, Macintosh CRT monitors or eMacs
